A professional storyteller, Davidson’s love of computer games began at the age of eight with the introduction of a TI-99/4A computer into his household. He learned Extended Basic and programmed his first game, a simple text adventured called “The Quest.” He later developed simple action and RPG games on his Commodore 64.

His first graphic adventure experience was Space Quest IV, which hooked him for life and instilled in him a love for the genre that would never fade. He quickly fell in love with every adventure game he could get his hands on, and favorites included King’s Quest VI, The Legend of Kyrandia, Conquest of the Longbow, Star Trek: The 25th Anniversary, Gabriel Knight, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Full Throttle and, possibly his most influential experience, the beautiful and haunting sci-fi masterpiece The Dig.

In his professional career, he spent a year in QA at Origin Systems/EA during their last days, published his own shareware game called Shadow of the Lost Citadel, and has spent the last eleven years working in motion pictures as a producer, director, cinematographer, editor, sound designer and visual effects supervisor at his own studio, Odyssee Pictures.

Now at the helm of his new game studio, Davidson is looking forward to re-exploring the adventure genre as a creator in his never ending quest to recapture the glorious days when mysteries were solved and legends  born one click at a time!
