Today I’m piecing together some ship interior concept art to act as a temp background and guide for the model interior I’ll create later. I’m sticking to a symmetrical diagram view for this rough concept for simplicity, but the final interior will have a more dramatic camera angle.
Quick mock-up of the escape pod interior screen. This will serve as temp art for testing and a concept piece to guide the final artwork.
Importing the swamp room concept art into the engine and setting up the interactions.
Importing the temple entrance and coding the camera behavior.
Editing the Jungle Temple entrance in photoshop, prepping to import into the game.
Coding exit arrows (temp art) and linking up rooms.
Editing the stone stair room walkable areas and walk-behinds.
Roughing out version #3 of the derelict ship scene. Repurposing gulch scene for the background of a whole new concept behind the derelict ship scene. The original idea was to have the ship hanging from the vines, now I’m using photos and digital painting to test out the idea of setting the ship in a moss-entangled swamp instead.
Background music: Star Command soundtrack
